Placements24 is seeking a Jefe de Equipo de Limpieza y Desinfección en Zonas de Alto Riesgo for operations in Hermosillo, Sonora. This senior leadership role manages deep cleaning and disinfection in high biohazard environments, coordinating a technical team to follow strict biosecurity protocols.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with hazardous materials, infection control, PPE, and regulatory safety standards, and is prepared to lead under pressure, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in biohazard remediation or related high-risk cleaning fields.
• Proven leadership of a technical team in challenging environments.
• Deep knowledge of biohazard types, containment, and disinfection techniques.
• Certified in HAZWOPER, Bloodborne Pathogens, and biosecurity training.
• Strong health and safety regulation knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of cleaning and disinfection technicians in high-risk environments.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute biohazard remediation projects per protocols.
• Ensure strict safety procedures, PPE use, and containment measures.
• Manage inventory and proper use of cleaners, disinfectants, and equipment.
• Conduct site assessments and determine necessary safety precautions.
• Train team members on advanced cleaning, hazardous materials handling, and biosecurity rules.
• Maintain records of remediation activities, chemicals used, and safety checks.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations on biohazardous waste disposal and environmental safety.
• Respond to emergencies and manage remediation efforts promptly.
