HCLTech Mexico is seeking a Java Support Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions. This role demands PEGA BPM expertise and hands-on PEGA PRPC experience across case management, data, UI, and performance tuning.

The position is onsite with a rotating night shift (two days off, six night shifts per year). Candidates should have 3+ years IT experience and strong troubleshooting skills, plus SNOW and incident management familiarity.

Formación

• 3+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in software development with PEGA BPM.
• Knowledge of PEGA 7 components: Case Management, Data Management, UI.
• PEGA best practices, integration rules and guardrails.
• Hands-on screen layout in Harness, Sections, Flow Actions, Data Transforms, Declarative and Decision Rules.
• Experience with List-View and Report Definitions in PEGA PRPC.
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning of PRPC apps using Clipboard, Tracer, PLA.
• Prefer SNOW, monitoring, incident and escalation management.

Responsabilidades

• Install, customize, and integrate software packages.
• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
• Review code with team members and perform unit testing.
• Create system documentation and playbooks; participate in reviews.
• Propose improvements to system performance and availability.
• Support major incidents and work on vulnerabilities.
• Shift rotation Mon-Sun with two days off; night shifts six days per year.

Mandatory/Required Skills

• 3+ years of equivalent work experience in IT
• AND 3+ years’ experience in software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding with in Pega BPM tool
• Having good knowledge on PEGA 7 components Case Management, Data Management and UI.
• PEGA best practices, Integration Rules, and guardrails
• Hand on experience on Screen Layout using Harness, Sections , Flow Actions, Data Transforms, Declarative and Decision Rule Types.
• Experience on List-View, Summary-View Reports and Report Definitions in PEGA PRPC.
• Experience in troubleshooting & performance tuning of PRPC applications utilizing Clipboard, Tracer, and PLA

• Facilitates root cause analysis of system issues.
• Works with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
• Learns to create system documentation/play books and attends requirements, design, development, and code reviews.
• Identifies ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
• Resolves complex technical design issues.
• Creates system documentation/play book(s) and participates as a reviewer and contributor in requirements, design, and code reviews.
• May serve as the subject matter expert on development techniques.
• Partners with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates on work packages.
• May assist experienced team members with the delegation of work packages.
• Monitoring Alerts and solving issues
