EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Java Developer with Angular to join our team in Mexico to remediate security vulnerabilities across critical applications. You will develop backend software using Java/Spring and maintain front-end components with Angular while adhering to secure coding practices.

You will analyze findings, upgrade libraries, review code, and collaborate with distributed teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions across enterprise systems.

Formación

• 2+ years of commercial software development experience with Java.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and front-end application development.
• Background in working with enterprise applications and existing/legacy codebases.
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.
• Familiarity with common application security vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities across the applications.
• Develop, modify, and maintain backend functionality using Java and Spring / Spring Boot.
• Maintain and update front-end functionality using Angular.
• Investigate existing code and implement solutions that address vulnerabilities without negatively affecting business functionality.
• Upgrade vulnerable libraries, frameworks, and application dependencies.
• Perform code-level remediation based on security findings and secure development practices.
• Troubleshoot issues resulting from security fixes, dependency upgrades, or existing implementations.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and validation of implemented fixes.
