IT Systems Specialist - Windows

We are seeking an IT Systems Specialist to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As an IT Systems Engineer at Marsh, you will be responsible for problem solving, root cause analysis, knowledge generation, and developing repeatable processes. In addition, you will be the escalation point for non-standard issues and incidents and responsible for the construction of standard communications.

We will count on you to
  • Windows Server administration
  • Back-end systems and application implementation and support
  • Participate in building specifications for application environments.
  • Patch Software obsolescence Management
  • Knowledge creation and documentation, improving process efficiency
  • Communications to team and the business
  • Conduct advanced training for the Tech Services team
  • Escalation Support
  • Engagement with MMC Tech Infrastructure colleagues to drive solutions
  • Backup Help Desk and Local Support as needed
  • Candidate should be process-oriented with good understanding of Incident and Change Management Processes
What you need to have
  • 4+ years Windows Server Administration experience
  • Advanced Windows PC OS and hardware knowledge and troubleshooting
  • Practical Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking
  • Active Directory object management experience and knowledge of sites and services, trusts, replication, DFS and core AD functions
  • Back-end enterprise application installation, management and support on distributed networks
  • Software experience: M365 core applications, NTFS permissions management, Windows server configuration and optimization.
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
What makes you stand out
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell, VBS, VBA, Python or other is a nice to have
  • Working in AWS and Azure environments a plus
