Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in Irapuato, MX is seeking an IT Solution Eng - SAP Logistics Analyst to implement and document SAP-based IT solutions, perform config and customization, and support integration and rollout.

The role requires 4+ years in SAP projects (S/4, R3 mandatory), strong ABAP/UI5 skills, and fluent English; collaboration across global teams and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in IT projects, software development, system integration, or IT operations.
• 4+ years of experience in an SAP project and/or support environment (S/4 – mandatory; R3 – mandatory).
• Strong Technical Capability in respective SAP competency (Debug ability – must have; ABAP Development – Preferred; UI5 Development – Preferred).
• Possesses Functional Knowledge in manufacturing processes and SAP IM, WM, EWM and other logistic processes.
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Implement and document IT solutions based on IT architecture guidelines.
• Assist in requirements analysis and development of technical concepts.
• Perform configuration and customization, especially in SAP-based systems.
• Participate in integration, testing, and rollout of IT systems including DevOps aspects.
• Support the maintenance and support of ongoing IT applications and services.
• Help create training materials and documentation for end users and IT colleagues.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of SAP/3rd party solutions, planning SAP maintenance, OSS-Notes, upgrades.
• Ensure compliance and security requirements are met within responsibilities.
• Support implementation and operation of IT solutions meeting business IT standards.
• Collaborate with IT Solution Architects and specialist teams for technical solutions.
• Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of IT components.
• Assist in analyzing and resolving technical issues in assigned applications.
• Manage SLAs and OLAs with internal/external customers.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and business units for successful integration.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your Qualifications

• Ability to configure and customize SAP systems including ECC LE/WM, EWM and embedded EWM
• Analytical and technical mindset with a solution-oriented approach
• Masters productivity suites, such as Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and JIRA
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken) and a proactive, team oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and cooperate effectively in teams
