You will identify defects, document findings, provide feedback, retest solutions, and help transition the team as needed to ensure successful releases in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• This role requires 5+ years hands-on Epicor ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field is required.
• Strong programming and hands-on development experience with C#, SQL Server, SSRS, and Epicor BAQs/BPMs.
• The ability to understand, analyze failures, review technical solutions, and determine readiness for release.
• Fluent in English.

Job summary

This position will work with the development team to review and audit development prior to release. Ensure all program code follows best practices and is accurate and complete. Assist development team with other development tasks as needs to support projects.

Main activities

• This role is not expected to modify or correct code directly, instead the individual will: identify issues and defects, document findings, provide detailed feedback to the development team, retest solutions after corrections have been made, validate the final solution satisfies business and technical requirements before release.
• Although this position is focused on Quality Assurance, the candidate must have a strong programming experience background to understand technical solutions.
• Should be capable of understanding, reviewing, and, when necessary, contributing to development activities including: Epicor customizations, C# development, SQL Server, BAQs, BPMs, SSRS reports, and system integrations.
• Will be able to transition between Quality Assurance responsibilities and development support as business needs required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP experience in a manufacturing environment as IT Quality Assurance and as a Programmer or Software Developer.
• Although this position is focused on Quality Assurance, the candidate must have strong programming and hands-on development experience background to understand technical solutions with C#, SQL Server, SSRS, and Epicor BAQs/BPMs.
• The ability to understand the purpose of a development, analyze failures, review technical solutions, and determine whether the functionality is ready for release.
• Strong knowledge of Epicor modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and Distribution (is not necessary to have knowledge in all modules).
• Proven track record of ERP system integrations and process optimization.
• MS Office.
• Fluent in English.
