Corning Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to support production-critical MES configurations, label printing solutions, and plant-side technical systems essential to daily operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve system performance, and sustain production continuity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or a related field, hands-on MES experience, and bilingual English/Spanish

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting manufacturing systems or plant IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, C++, Visual Basic, or VB6.
• Experience with SQL queries, reporting, and technical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of server operations, printer support, and production system monitoring.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a production support environment.
• Availability to participate in on-call support.

Responsabilidades

• Support and maintain MES configuration across production areas, lines, stations, routing, and user access.
• Develop and update label printing solutions and SAP-connected printing systems.
• Troubleshoot production-impacting technical issues including servers, printers, system performance, and help desk tickets.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Infrastructure teams to improve reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Purpose

Join our manufacturing IT organization as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, supporting production critical applications and infrastructure at our Reynosa site. In this role, you will help maintain and improve MES configuration, label printing solutions, and plant-side technical systems that are essential to daily operations. You will work closely with cross functional teams to resolve issues, improve system performance, and support production continuity in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintainMES configuration, including production areas, lines, stations, routing, and user access
• Develop and updatelabel printing solutions and provide support for printer related and SAP connected printing systems
• Troubleshootproduction impacting technical issues, including servers, printers, system performance, and help desk tickets
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Infrastructure teams to improve reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives

Experiences/Education - Required
