Job summary

Intuitive Mexicali plant seeks an Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming raw materials and to maintain traceability for finish goods. You will interact with SAP to record results, follow GMPs, wear safety gear, and help ensure materials meet product specifications.

The role requires interpreting mechanical drawings, adhering to 5S practices, and supporting engineering with data and reports for VRs and APs.

Qualifications

• Must perform visual and dimensional inspection of raw materials.
• Familiar with reading basic mechanical drawings and GD&T concepts.
• Experience recording inspection results in SAP or similar systems.
• Awareness of GMPs and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with 5S methodology in work areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of raw material.
• Document inspection results to maintain traceability at finish goods level.
• Follow GMPs and wear safety equipment during inspection.
• Escalate safety issues to supervisor or manager as needed.
• Use tooling and equipment per work instructions and report wear or damage.
• Interact with computer-based software to record inspection results.
• Review supplier documentation for required information/test results per part drawings.
