The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM) within Inspired Education Group delivers outstanding bilingual education and supports students with diverse learning needs. The IPAL Teacher will design and implement personalized strategies to promote academic progress, independence and well-being, working with families and colleagues.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Psychopedagogy, or related field.
  • Experience supporting children with diverse learning needs in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction, learning interventions and IEP planning.
  • Experience developing and monitoring personalized learning plans.

Responsabilidades

  • Identify and support students with diverse learning needs through observation and ongoing monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans based on each student's strengths, needs and goals.
  • Provide individual and small-group academic support using differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Adapt learning activities, materials and assessments to ensure students can access the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with Homeroom Teachers, specialists and academic leaders to implement accommodations and interventions.
  • Monitor students' progress, maintain accurate records and adjust support strategies as needed.
  • Communicate regularly and sensitively with families regarding students' progress, needs and agreed strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with external specialists when required and follow up on their recommendations.
  • Support students in developing confidence, independence, self-regulation and positive learning habits.
  • Participate in meetings, professional development activities and wider school initiatives.
  • Promote an inclusive, respectful and safe learning environment.
  • Follow all school policies and safeguarding procedures.

ROLE SUMMARY

AIM Valle is seeking a caring, proactive and experienced IPAL Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, families and the school's academic and support teams to develop and implement personalized strategies that promote academic progress, independence, inclusion and emotional well-being.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
  • A bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Psychopedagogy or a related field.
  • Previous experience supporting children with diverse learning needs in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction, learning interventions and individualized educational planning.
  • Experience developing and monitoring personalized learning plans.
  • Strong classroom management, observation and assessment skills.
  • The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students and families.
  • Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, flexible and solution-oriented approach.
  • The ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • English proficiency appropriate for working in a bilingual school environment.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
