Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, TX is hiring an Inventory Clerk to monitor and maintain accurate stock levels within our Inventory Management System. You will greet customers and deliver service excellence while supporting daily inventory operations.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, proper ordering and receiving, and collaborating with store leadership to resolve shortages and optimize shelf conditions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with inventory control methods and backroom standards.
• Basic math and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret information and learn new systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy of product balances on hand.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of product.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches any shortages and corrects unacceptable shelf conditions.
• Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
• Provides friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer complaints.
• Takes precautionary safety measures when using equipment and work tools.
• Assists with all other assigned duties, including period and bi-annual inventory service counts.
