Job summary

Bosch San Luis Potosí Plant is seeking an Inventory Controlling Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy through monitoring, analysis, and SAP-driven adjustments. The role involves auditing cycle counts, addressing discrepancies, and supporting month-end closings.

You will work with Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality, and Controlling teams to improve inventory processes and controls while upholding internal policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory accuracy for raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods.
• Plan, coordinate, and audit cycle count activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Review, validate, and process inventory adjustments in SAP while maintaining adequate documentation and approval controls.
• Analyze inventory movements and ensure data integrity within the ERP system.
• Prepare and distribute periodic inventory reports, including cycle count results, inventory variances, adjustments, and scrap performance.
• Support month-end and year-end inventory closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies related to inventory management.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analysis, and explanations regarding inventory transactions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality, and Controlling teams to improve inventory processes and controls.
