Avnet seeks a dedicated Inventory Associate to safeguard the integrity of financial and physical stock. You will compare financial records with physical counts, adjust entries, and monitor stock levels to ensure timely reordering.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration across departments, and adherence to controls. Prior inventory experience and basic Excel skills are preferred, with safety certifications potentially required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift and PIT certifications may be required.
• Basic Excel knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research variances between financial and physical inventory.
• Adjust, audit and submit journal entry corrections.
• Assess stock levels and reorder status.
• Participate in and ensure accuracy of periodic and special inventory counts.
• Maintain inventory records and audit trails for accuracy.
• Identify and pursue process improvements and KPIs.
• Maintain and update systems as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
