Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Inventory Control professional to monitor inventory levels, ensure traceability, and identify root causes of discrepancies. You will provide feedback and practical solutions to eliminate further issues.

You will monitor all material transactions for assigned areas, perform cycle counts, and assist in implementing materials management systems. Collaboration with supervisors, engineering, and program management is essential to minimize downtime and optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Present information to managers and clients.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts.
• Operate a PC with Windows-based OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material transactions for assigned areas.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and inventory errors.
• Recommend changes to prevent recurring inaccuracies.
• Support overtime, material handling, and fill for others as needed.
• Reduce manufacturing downtime in the assigned area.
• Perform regular cycle counts as required.
• Inventory reporting on customer systems when required.
• Assist in developing materials management systems at Jabil Circuit.
• Interface with supervisors, engineering, program management and other plant staff.
• Adhere to safety rules and company security procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
