The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, minimize excess inventory, and support efficient supply chain operations. This role involves data analysis, forecasting, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor stock levels across warehouses and distribution centers to ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to optimize inventory flow.
  • Support cycle counting and physical inventory processes to maintain accuracy.
  • Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend actions.
  • Assist in the development of inventory policies and procedures.
  • Use ERP systems and inventory management tools to track and manage stock.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to reduce carrying costs and improve turnover rates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
