Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles, internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIFs) and tax regulations is advantageous.
• Proficiency with audit software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate risks and develop audit programs to address identified risks.
• Verify accuracy and reliability of financial records and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws/regulations.
• Conduct investigations into suspected fraud or irregularities.
• Prepare clear audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Follow up on audit recommendations.
• Communicate findings to management and audit committee.
• Stay current with auditing standards and best practices.
