Ford México seeks an experienced automotive CAE engineer to drive virtual design for interior systems. You will bridge simulation with real-world engineering, shaping safer, quieter, and lighter vehicles by collaborating with design and testing teams across the product lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive interior CAE, proficiency with LS-DYNA/NASTRAN/Abaqus, and a strong grasp of safety standards. Join a collaborative team focused on innovation and quality.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, or Materials Engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands-on automotive interior CAE or crashworthiness analysis.
• Proficiency with pre/post processors and solvers listed above.
• Knowledge of FMVSS/NCAP protocols and global safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute FE models for interior components and full-vehicle environments.
• Run dynamic impact and occupant safety simulations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform static/dynamic analyses for strength, durability, and fatigue life.
• Analyze modal characteristics to mitigate NVH and S&R risks.
• Collaborate with design, CAD, and testing teams to apply design improvements.
• Coordinate with testing teams and automate CAE workflows.
