Job summary

Dauch seeks an Intern, Training and Certification to assist in developing, coordinating, and administering training programs at the El Carmen Manufacturing Facility. You will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and contribute to employee skill development and compliance.

Responsibilities include creating and updating training materials, scheduling sessions, maintaining records, scoring assessments, and collaborating with managers to identify training needs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in industrial engineering, HR, education, organizational development, business administration, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and updating of training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online modules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational procedures.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating training sessions, including communicating with participants, securing training locations, and preparing necessary equipment.
• Help maintain training records and certification documentation, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
• Administer and score certification assessments, providing feedback to participants and documenting results.
• Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop relevant curriculum.
• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and suggesting improvements.
• Support the onboarding process for new employees by assisting with initial training and orientation activities.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the training department as needed.
