Job summary

Consejo Regulador Del Tequila, A.C. seeks a meticulous Quality Inspector to join our team in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. You will inspect raw materials, monitor production, and certify the quality of precast concrete components before delivery to project sites.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in QA/inspection within construction materials, understands concrete properties, and can read technical drawings. This role blends on-site fieldwork with lab/office duties in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or inspection within the construction materials or concrete manufacturing sector.
• Understanding of concrete properties, testing methods, and quality assurance principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, reinforcement).
• Monitor the production process to ensure adherence to established quality control procedures and mix designs.
• Perform tests on concrete samples (slump, air content, strength) as per standards.
• Inspect finished precast concrete products for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and structural integrity.
• Identify and document non-conforming products or processes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ACI, local building codes).
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
