Newark Electronics, an Avnet Company, is hiring a paid internship in Guadalajara, Mexico, with a hybrid work schedule (in-office and remote, 20 hrs per week). The role runs from August 2025 to February 2026 and requires residence in Guadalajara for the summer to fit the hybrid arrangement.

Relocation and sponsorship are not offered. The intern will support orders, collaborate with procurement and logistics, and gain experience in international business operations within a leading global

Formación

• Be studying in the penultimate quarter or semester of the degree in International Business or Business Administration.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and basic IT understanding.
• Interest or background in technology or commercial matters preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize and expedite orders based on customer urgency or management direction.
• Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and supply chain teams to resolve backorder issues.
• Communicate with suppliers, logistics, and internal departments to accelerate order processing and delivery.
• Maintain accurate order records and update ERP as needed.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prioritize and expedite orders based on customer urgency or management direction.
• Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and supply chain teams to resolve backorder issues.
• Communicate with suppliers, logistics, and internal departments to accelerate order processing and delivery.
• Maintain accurate order records and update ERP as needed.

Knowledge And Skills

• PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated proactivity and initiative through work and school related activities.
• Interest or background in technology or commercial matters is preferred.

Education And Certification(s)

Be studying in the penultimate quarter or semester of the degree in International Business or Business Administration.

Additional Information

This is a paid internship.

Work schedule is hybrid: some days in‑office, some days WFH (20 hrs. per week).

Must be available for seasonal work from August 2025 to February 2026.

Selected candidate must provide their own housing, internet access, and transportation.

Selected candidate should reside in Guadalajara for the summer to accommodate the hybrid schedule.
