BD Mexico is seeking a Safety, Environmental and Compliance Specialist to oversee daily safety, industrial hygiene and environmental programs at the Nogales facility. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and BD quality policies.
Responsibilities include audits, documentation, and training development. The ideal candidate has a B.S. in a related field, 1–2 years of experience, and bilingual capability (Spanish/English).

Job Description
Responsible for day-to-day safety, industrial hygiene and environmental control programs and evaluations in compliance with all federal state, local, and company policies. Participate, evaluates, and conducts periodic audits to evaluate compliance to regulations. Develops and facilitates training and on-going support for Job Safety Hazard Analysis, etc. Develops activities and documentation (license, programs, manifests) to comply with federal, state and local regulations.
Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
B.S. degree in engineering, safety, environmental or related field
1-2 years’ experience preferably in a manufacturing/maquiladora environment. Knowledge of occupational safety and environmental policies, current laws and regulations required. Bilingual is a plus(Spanish/English)
