Placements24 is seeking a remote Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and deploy embedded automotive software for infotainment, ADAS, and connectivity. You will work with cross-functional teams in a fully remote Mexico-based setting, contributing to high-performance software standards and ISO 26262 compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software development for embedded systems, with proficiency in C++, Java, and Python, plus experience with AUTOSAR, QNX, or Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/SE/EE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with embedded/automotive focus.
• Proficient in C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience with AUTOSAR, QNX or Linux.
• Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet automotive protocols.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded automotive software.
• Write clean, maintainable code in C++, Java, Python.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, architects, and product managers.
• Implement features like infotainment, navigation, ADAS, and diagnostics.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Develop unit, integration, and system tests.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and industry standards.
