Eaton Corporation, división ES AMER PCS, busca Ingeniero de Servicios en Campo para brindar soluciones técnicas a clientes y usuarios finales. Se requieren habilidades en UPS, aire acondicionado y soporte técnico, con disponibilidad para viajar y operar en entornos dinámicos.

El candidato ideal tendrá al menos 3 años de experiencia en servicio eléctrico/mecánico, dominio de herramientas de oficina y capacidad para comunicar en español e inglés.

Formación

• Se requiere grado universitario en ingeniería eléctrica o similar.
• Experiencia mínima de 3 años en servicio eléctrico y mecánico en empresa de gran tamaño.
• Conocimientos profundos de UPS, baterías y sistemas de aire acondicionado.

Responsabilidades

• Manejar arrancos de UPS para modelos Eaton y Tripp Lite (1–1100 KVA).
• Realizar mantenimiento correctivo y preventivo en instalaciones del cliente.
• Analizar rendimiento de equipos y diagnosticar fallas con precisión.
• Preparar informes de servicio escritos y claros para clientes.
• Mantenerse actualizado con boletines de servicio y políticas de la empresa.

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Ingeniero de Servicios en Campo.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary: The primary function of the Engineer.ENG.Technical Support. is to give to the EATON clients and End Users the proper Technical Solutions for Start Ups, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of ther UPS and Air Conditioning equipment. This position will be responsible to achieve the assigned services consistent with the client´s expectations. There will be an expectation to optimize quality of services and diagnoses regarding those systems.

The target type for this position is external and internal clients , with the responsibility to do quality services. Success in this role hinges on the candidate’s ability an comprehend electrical power and air conditioning quality concepts, proactively identify high-potential in our area with ASP, customers and opportunities, convert complex customer problems into solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handling UPS startups for all current Eaton and Tripp Lite models, ranging from 1 to 1100 KVA’s capacity.
• Handling startups for Tripp Lite Air Conditioning units.
• Responding to equipment emergencies at customer sites.
• Performing corrective and preventive maintenance for customers and end users.
• Conducting comprehensive equipment performance analysis and accurate troubleshooting diagnostics, both at customer sites and in the laboratory.
• Preparing timely and proper written customer service reports.
• Obtaining internal and external certifications as required.
• Staying up to date with and acting upon Field Service Bulletins issued by the factory.
• Availability to travel 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
• 100% compliance with MESH training required for the role.
• Managing travel expenses in accordance with Eaton policies.
• Engaging in continuous self-training.
• Attending company-provided training on safety, health, and environmental topics.
• Meeting the goals and objectives defined in the Talent Hub.
• Meet any other activity assigned by your supervisor or special requirements of the company.
• Active participation in Continues Improvements programs and committees.

Qualifications:

Education Level Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution required.

Years and Area of Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical and mechanical industry service experience in a large company is required, evaluating and servicing UPS and Air Conditioning equipment.

Technical Knowledge:

• Deep knowledge and Experience in UPS, Batteries, DC and Air Conditioning systems, their testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing.
• Training Instructor Skills in Electrical and Air Conditioning services.
• Knowledge of Eaton & Tripp Lite products and their applications, electric control & distribution segment.
• Proficiency in computer skills Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Management).
• Must have good written communication skills in English Spanish required (70%).
