Job summary

BOSC is seeking a Test Engineer to ensure reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of test systems in the production area. The role owns KPIs such as Relative Utilization, False Rejects, Downtime, IDC (Scrap), and On-Time Task Completion.

Qualifications include bench-top test equipment knowledge, power electronics/analog hardware experience for space environments, IPC A-610 and Six Sigma/PDCA methods, and willingness to travel in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with bench top test equipment incl. DMMs, high-current power supplies, electronic loads, probes and oscilloscopes.
• Experience in design, development, fabrication, assembly and test of power electronics or analog hardware for space environments.
• Knowledge of IPC A-610 standards.
• Experience with problem solving techniques (Shainin, Six Sigma, PDCA, 8D).
• Statistical Process Control knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional, multi-functional teams in a global environment.
• Excellent communication skills (internal and external).
• Willingness to travel.
• Engineering fields: Mechatronic, Electronic, Industrial, Systems, Metallurgical, Chemistry or Electromechanical.

Job description

Test Engineer is directly responsible for the technical reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the assigned functional and/or vision test systems within the production area. The role ensures process stability, equipment availability,
compliance with Bosch standards, and full ownership of defined KPIs (Relative Utilization – NuRel, False Rejects, Downtime, IDC (Scrap), and On-Time Task Completion).

• Knowledge on Bench Top Test Equipment, including DMMs, high current power supplies, electronic loads, various measurement probes and oscilloscopes
• Experience in the design, development, fabrication, assembly and test of power electronics or analog hardware, particularly focused on power systems and analog electronics in space environments
• High knowledge on IPC standards IPC-A-610
• Knowledge on problem solving techniques-Shainin-6 Sigma-PDCA-8D.
• Knowledge on SPC.
• Analytical and skills for problem solving techniques.
• Statically analysis knowledge
• Ability to work effectively in cross functional, and multifunctional teams. In a global environment
• Excellent communication skills: Internal and external.
• Willingness to Travel.
