Job summary

Bosch Group is seeking a Test Engineer to ensure reliability, performance and continuous improvement of assigned test systems within the production area.

You will own KPIs such as relative utilization, false rejects, downtime, scrap, and on-time task completion while collaborating with global teams and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with bench top test equipment and measurement tools.
• Design and test of power electronics/analog hardware for space environments.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
• Experience with SPC and problem solving techniques (Shainin, Six Sigma, PDCA, 8D).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional, global teams.
• Willingness to travel.

Job description

Test Engineer is directly responsible for the technical reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the assigned functional and/or vision test systems within the production area. The role ensures process stability, equipment availability,
compliance with Bosch standards, and full ownership of defined KPIs (Relative Utilization – NuRel, False Rejects, Downtime, IDC (Scrap), and On-Time Task Completion).

• Knowledge on Bench Top Test Equipment, including DMMs, high current power supplies, electronic loads, various measurement probes and oscilloscopes
• Experience in the design, development, fabrication, assembly and test of power electronics or analog hardware, particularly focused on power systems and analog electronics in space environments
• High knowledge on IPC standards IPC-A-610
• Knowledge on problem solving techniques-Shainin-6 Sigma-PDCA-8D.
• Knowledge on SPC.
• Analytical and skills for problem solving techniques.
• Statically analysis knowledge
• Ability to work effectively in cross functional, and multifunctional teams. In a global environment
• Excellent communication skills: Internal and external.
