Placements24 seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead operational excellence and digital transformation for our clients. This fully remote role in Mexico requires a strategic thinker able to guide Lean, Six Sigma and AI/IoT led improvements across diverse industries.

You will design roadmaps, manage projects, run workshops, analyze performance data and deliver data-driven solutions while maintaining strong remote communications with international clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and digital transformation consulting.
• Black Belt certification required in Lean/Six Sigma and change management.
• Deep understanding of IoT, AI, ML and data analytics platforms.

About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking consulting firm specializing in industrial optimization, is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join their team as an Operational Excellence and Digital Transformation Specialist. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere in Mexico. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through significant operational improvements and digital transformations, focusing on leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness. The role requires a deep understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and digital technologies (AI, IoT, Big Data) and the ability to apply them to solve complex business challenges. We are looking for a strategic thinker and a change agent who can drive impactful, data-driven transformations for our diverse client portfolio.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and digital transformation consulting.


• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification required), and change management.


• Deep understanding of digital technologies such as IoT, AI, machine learning, and data analytics platforms.


• Experience with business process modeling and re-engineering.


• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.


• Outstanding remote communication, presentation, and client management abilities.


• Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive successful outcomes in a virtual environment.


• Fluency in English is required due to international client interactions.


• Must possess a strong internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
