Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Mexicali is seeking a results-driven quality engineer to coordinate and implement projects, strategies and actions to ensure and meet quality goals.

The role analyzes and approves new product manufacturing changes and quality tools, conducts audits, and leads improvement initiatives on the shop floor, with up to 25% travel and a strong emphasis on Lean and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience required
• Quality tools training and project management experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Lean tools knowledge and RCA experience required
• Experience leading quality projects across multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

Education and Experience Requirements

• Lead special quality issues investigation, develop and implementacion of shop floor quality procedures .
• Lead projects and suggest improvements.

• Decision and problem solution with medium risk .
• Take actons to avoid reworks and future problems .
• Needs occasional supervision .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• Intermediate English Level (Reading, listening and writing).
