TACNA Services, Inc. busca un/a Ingeniero/a de Calidad con más de 7 años de experiencia en electrónica o automotriz para liderar iniciativas de mejora continua y análisis de fallos.
Debe dominar ISO 9001/13485, IATF 16949 y FDA QSR, con conocimiento de SMT, THA, Test y OOBA, y manejar herramientas estadísticas. Ubicación en Tecate, Baja California.
Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in the electronics and/or automotive industry, with strong knowledge of quality management systems and experience in continuous improvement, failure analysis, and problem-solving. Responsible for participating in and leading quality improvement initiatives, analyzing failures and nonconformities, identifying root causes, establishing and following up on corrective and preventive actions, and promoting a culture of prevention and continuous improvement within the organization. Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and FDA QSR standards is required, along with knowledge and experience in SMT processes and equipment. The position will be responsible for driving improvements in quality and performance indicators, across SMT, THA, Test (Funcional, ICT, Flying Probe), and OOBA processes, using structured analysis and problem-solving tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have an analytical, proactive, and results-oriented profile, with strong decision-making skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams while serving as a liaison between Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers. Strong skills in objective failure analysis, conflict resolution, identification of improvement opportunities, and timely decision-making regarding situations that may impact product quality or customer satisfaction are essential. Knowledge of statistical and data analysis tools is required, including Minitab, Microsoft Office, ANOVA, DOE, CpK, PpK, T-Test, scatter plots, and analysis of Normal, Binomial, and Poisson distributions. The candidate must also be able to effectively apply quality control techniques, methods, and tools, as well as interpret data and make data-driven decisions. The position requires a degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field, as well as approximately 90% proficiency in spoken and written English; certification is required. The position requires schedule flexibility and the ability to communicate effectively with bilingual customers and suppliers. Open to all genders.
