Foxconn is seeking a machine vision engineer to verify and optimize vision systems across automation equipment in Ciudad Juárez. You will work on maintaining compatibility with new product variants and selecting optimal software strategies for varying application scenarios.

The role requires at least 3 years in machine vision, experience with PLCs/robots, and proficiency in vision tools like Keyence, Cognex, and OpenCV. English must be advanced to communicate in international teams.

• Verify that the vision systems are working properly.
• Analize the functioning of the vision systems in order to make improvements.
• Keep all the vision equipment updated for the new variants of the product.
• Be able to match the best optimal selection program according to different application scenarios.

Requirements for the job:

• 3 years of experience in machine vision.
• Experience in development of machine vision for automation equipment.
• Experience in development of PLCs, robots, and communication signal interface modules for supporting instruments.
• Must be proficient in Vision Systems
• English advanced
• Keyence vision and Cognex in 2D or 3D

Knowledge

• Familiar with one or several popular big brands of vision commissioning systems on the market, for example: Keyence, Cognex,Omron.
• PC form application programming and interface design.
• Familiar with object-oriented thinking and design patterns, C#, C++, LabView, Scada, QT.
• Proficient in at least one vision system development tool among Halcon, VisionPro, OpenCV, and NI Vision
