Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Civil Project and Construction Engineer to oversee key infrastructure initiatives in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. This field-based role emphasizes on-site leadership, planning, and delivery within schedule and budget constraints.

You will coordinate with government agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while advancing regional infrastructure development.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in managing civil engineering projects with construction oversight.
• Ability to manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with Mexican building codes and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all phases of civil engineering projects from planning to handover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate on-site construction activities ensuring plans and safety regulations.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders for progress and compliance.
• Prepare budgets, track expenses, and approve contractor payments.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Resolve site issues and conflicts during construction.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and close-out documents.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
