About the Role

Our client, a visionary urban development consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Ingeniero Civil de Planificación de Proyectos Urbanos for a fully remote position. This role is pivotal in shaping sustainable and livable urban environments across Mexico. You will lead the planning, conceptualization, and initial design phases of complex urban development projects, including master planning, infrastructure integration, and land use strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of urban systems, sustainable design principles, and public policy related to urban development. Collaboration with municipalities, developers, community stakeholders, and a multidisciplinary team of planners, architects, and engineers, predominantly through digital channels, is essential. Key Responsibilities

• Develop master plans and strategic visions for urban development projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site analyses for new urban initiatives.

• Collaborate remotely with government agencies, developers, and community groups.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering with an Urban Development focus, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in urban planning, land development, or civil infrastructure planning.
• Proven experience in developing master plans and strategic frameworks for urban projects.
• Strong understanding of urban design principles, zoning laws, and land use regulations in Mexico.
• Proficiency in GIS software and urban planning modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
