Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer for a hybrid role in Torreón, Coahuila to optimize warehousing, inventory, and transportation. You will blend on-site analysis with remote planning to drive cost savings and improve service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, operations, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing operations and transportation logistics.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficient in data analysis and process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics and warehousing processes to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Develop strategies to optimize inventory control, space utilization, and material flow.
• Design efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to reduce costs.
• Evaluate routes, carrier performance, and fleet utilization.
• Use data analytics to forecast demand and plan labor needs.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma to eliminate waste and improve quality.
• Create and maintain SOPs for logistics functions.
• Monitor KPIs and report on efficiency and cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
• Conduct site assessments for safety and compliance.
