Placements24 is seeking an Ingeniero/a de Control de Calidad de Software (QA) in Acapulco, Guerrero. The role focuses on designing, developing, and executing test plans to deliver high-quality software products.

You will work with developers and product managers, performing manual and automated testing across platforms and ensuring defect tracking and reporting are precise. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in QA, strong test-case skills, and familiarity with Jira/TestRail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
