Job Description

INFYMEX –– Python + SQL Data Engineer – Ingeniero de Datos de Python + SQL

Infosys is seeking Data Engineers with Python and SQL experience. In this role, you will work directly with the clients to develop a Data Engineering program that includes building data pipelines and data lake initiatives, executive reporting using dashboards, and process/workflow definition implementation. Locations for this position are Mexico (Mexico City, GDL and MTY).

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology for JL4.
• Very good communication skills and English level.

Mandatory Skillsets

• At least 3 years of project experience in Python and SQL.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts.

Good to Have

• Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Experience in Big Data ecosystem using Hadoop/Python/Scala/Spark/PySpark packages and libraries for large scale data.
• Experience working with Azure Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience in data warehouse using any ETL tool.
• Experience in Unix shell scripting.

Other Relevant Experience

• Experience in software development life cycle.
• Working in an agile environment, works on new systems development and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Preferred - Experience in Financial Services, Insurance Domain.
