Inmar Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Network Engineer to support WAN/LAN, including routers, switches and firewalls, and to design/implement infrastructure for customer-facing hosted and cloud environments.

You will lead network security efforts, perform audits, and collaborate with teams on improving connectivity and reliability. This is an office-based role in Mexico with a focus on scalable, robust networks.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or Information Systems required.
• 4-6 years of related work experience, or equivalent combination.
• Proficient with G-Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Cisco hardware management experience.
• Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls.
• Networking certifications such as CCNA/CCDA are a plus.
• VMware virtualization experience.
• Remote access solution support; remote monitoring/alerts management.

This role is office-based in Mexico. The role requires professional fluency in English (spoken and written). The Network Engineer focuses on the area of Inmar's internal and external networks, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments. The incumbent will provide leadership in the design and implementation of complex infrastructure in support of customer needs, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communication systems.

Primary Accountabilities

• Provide technical services and support for WAN/LAN connectivity, including routers, switches and firewalls.
• Evaluate, recommend and implement tools and practices to achieve maximum network efficiency.
• Participate in security audits and champion the resolution and/or mitigation of any issues found with regards to network vulnerabilities.

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or Information Systems required.
• 4-6 years of related work experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training/certification in software, hardware & technology applications required.
• Technical proficiency in a wide variety of networking technologies, including hands-on management of Cisco hardware; virtualization technologies such as VMware; remote access solution support; remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications.
• General knowledge of F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM.
• General knowledge of firewalls, specific knowledge of Palo Alto.
• Networking certifications, such as CCNA, CCDA, and Cisco Certifications are a plus.
• Proficient with G-Suite.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
