General Motors is seeking an experienced data science and AI professional to transform manufacturing data into actionable insights and digital applications. You will develop analytical models, dashboards, and automation to improve productivity, quality, and throughput in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires collaboration with technical, manufacturing, maintenance, and leadership teams, with on-site, full-time work and rotating shifts as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in data-related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related areas.
• Experience delivering data products, analytics models, dashboards, or automations.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, ML, data analysis, and web development.
• Experience with data integration, pipelines, databases, APIs, or cloud data environments.

Responsabilidades

• Identify opportunities to apply AI, ML, analytics, and automation to manufacturing challenges.
• Collect, integrate, clean, and analyze data from MES, equipment, processes, and sources.
• Develop analytical models, ML solutions, dashboards, apps, and automations for decision-making.
• Translate requirements into scalable data and AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, datasets, and monitoring tools.
• Create metrics and dashboards to monitor production performance and capacity.
• Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics for maintenance and quality.
