Jobtailor in Hermosillo, MX is seeking an Industrial Engineering professional to support labor optimization, capacity studies, and process improvements across stamping, body, and final assembly. You will collaborate with plants across North America and drive efficiency initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, MODAPTS experience, and strong MS Office skills. You will lead time studies, assist with line layouts, and help launches while traveling domestically.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Plant Industrial Engineering & manufacturing operations experience preferred.
• Experience with MODAPTS preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Work well under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Support forward model and capacity studies for all milestones, including Direct Labor and Indirect Labor in Stamping, Body, Paint, and Final areas.
• Lead new model labor optimization efforts through benchmarking, target setting, process-change tracking, and replication across programs.
• Support cycle line layout planning, virtual build events, operator allocations, and time studies.
• Work with plants to support physical build events and program launches.
• Minimize or offset labor impacts through labor blitzes, plant projects, and identifying design/process opportunities.
• Assist with operator allocations, cycle line layouts, plant rebalances, line speed changes, time studies, throughput issues, and launch support.
• Maintain and deliver IE documentation, including Labor Glidepath, Program 1-Pager, Labor by Department, Plant Line Speed, and APT Assessment.
• Develop and document standardized methods and procedures.
• Drive and implement labor efficiency through global IE processes, tools, and standards.
• Complete and evaluate MODAPTS time studies with plants.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, material handling, ergonomics, and plant personnel.
• Support Assembly and Stamping responsibilities in North America.
• Travel domestically.
