PwC Mexico is seeking an Indirect Tax and Foreign Trade Manager to guide clients through VAT, GST and sales tax, lead teams, and manage complex tax projects across geographies. The role emphasizes strategic planning, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality client service in a dynamic tax environment.

You will oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of engagements, while staying current on international tax and customs rules and leveraging technology to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years of experience in indirect tax or related field
• English proficiency (oral and written) required

Responsibilities

• Leading indirect tax advisory projects focusing on VAT, GST, and sales tax
• Guiding clients through complex indirect tax regulations to optimize their tax positions
• Developing and executing strategic tax planning initiatives to enhance client compliance and efficiency
• Managing project timelines and deliverables, confirming alignment with client expectations
• Mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and enhance performance
• Analyzing and identifying system linkages and interactions to improve tax processes
• Collaborating with leadership to uphold professional and technical standards in tax services
• Addressing and resolving conflicts or issues with clients and stakeholders effectively
• Utilizing tax technology tools to streamline tax documentation and reporting processes
• Engaging in continuous learning to stay updated on international taxation and customs regulations
