MKS is seeking an Indirect Procurement Supervisor who partners with Procurement, Engineering, Quality and Commodity teams to source material at the best cost, on time, with the best quality. You will report to the Procurement Supervisor and drive cross-functional buying initiatives across spend categories.

Key success factors include delivering cost reductions, mitigating supply risks, and ensuring supplier performance meets quality and compliance standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred.
• 3+ years of related procurement experience.
• Ability to remain stationary for 90% of time in office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly convey information and ideas.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cost reduction by analyzing spending and negotiating terms.
• Mitigate risk by identifying disruptions and building backup plans.
• Monitor supplier performance for delivery times and quality.
• Coordinate with finance, legal, and departments to align purchasing with budgets.

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Indirect Procurement Supervisor at MKS, you will partner with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Commodity teams to purchase material at the best cost, on time, with the best quality (ex. develop, support, execute, purchase, contribute, etc.). In this role, you will report to the Procurement Supervisor.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Cost Reduction: Analyze spending patterns, consolidate vendor contracts, and negotiate better commercial terms to lower overall operating expenses.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply disruptions, geopolitical bottlenecks, or vendor dependencies early and build backup plans.
• Supplier Performance: Monitor and grade vendor delivery times, product quality, and compliance to ensure consistent operational execution.
• Cross-Functional Bridge: Coordinate between finance, legal, and internal department heads to align purchasing needs with actual company budgets.Follow and achieve KPIs

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and good writing and oral communication skills
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred
• 3+ years of related experience
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 90% of the time
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
• Must be able to exchange accurate information
• Operates in a professional office
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
