Lexmark a Subsidiary of Xerox Corporation seeks an Indirect Strategic Buyer to join our Global Sourcing team in Mexico. You will support and execute indirect sourcing strategies, manage bidding processes, and collaborate with internal and global teams to drive value.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong RFP/RFQ, negotiations, Ariba, and bilingual English and Spanish. You will lead supplier negotiations, identify cost savings, and influence business decisions across borders.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders and suppliers across multiple countries.
• Strong experience with RFP/RFQ, negotiations, contracts, and sourcing.
• Proficient with Ariba and MS Office; Power BI knowledge preferred.
• Fluent English and Spanish at least C1.

Overview

We are looking for an Indirect Strategic Buyer to join our Global Sourcing team. This position will be responsible for supporting and executing indirect sourcing strategies, managing bidding and supplier negotiation processes, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and collaborating with internal and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies in collaboration with Category Leads and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, from RFP/RFQ through supplier award and contract signature.
• Lead negotiations with key suppliers, including pricing, cost, and contractual terms.
• Identify and deliver cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, and executive teams to ensure favorable contractual terms and minimize business risks.
• Develop strong market and category knowledge to support business decisions and regular reporting.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and Global Purchasing teams to ensure proper execution of purchase orders, contracts, and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Support and promote Global Sourcing tools and processes, including Ariba.
• Support and deliver against Global Sourcing financial performance objectives for assigned categories.
• Manage projects, follow up on open issues, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, or related areas.
• Experience working with stakeholders, suppliers, or teams across multiple countries.
• Experience working in multinational environments.
• Strong experience with RFP/RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience with Ariba.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable working with enterprise systems and technology tools; knowledge of Power BI.
• Advanced English – minimum C1 level, written and spoken.
• Advanced Spanish – minimum C1 level, written and spoken.
