Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer at the Monterrey region to manage indirect purchasing, negotiate contracts, and drive savings. The role involves coordinating with Finance and AP and ensuring ISO procedures are followed.

The candidate should have a related engineering degree, 5 years in indirect purchasing, and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, with conversational English and strong teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Execute indirect purchasing for materials, services and CAPEX per ethics and compliance.
• Source, evaluate and select suppliers for bidding processes.
• Create, negotiate and close contracts with optimal outcomes for SB&D.
• Create, send and track indirect purchase orders (domestic and foreign).
• Meet KPIs for indirect purchasing.
• Lead productivity savings projects to reduce costs.
• Support Finance and Accounts Payable with invoices and statements.
• Follow ISO indirect purchasing procedures.

The Job:

As an Indirect Procurement Buyer, you’ll be part of our Customs team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to:

• Carry out the indirect purchasing process for materials, services and CAPEX in accordance with Stanley Black and Decker Ethics and Compliance standards.
• Carry out the sourcing process to identify, evaluate and select suppliers to participate in indirect purchasing bidding processes.
• Create, negotiate, and close contract negotiations with the best desirable outcome for Stanley Black and Decker.
• Create, send, and track purchase orders for indirect purchases for national and foreign suppliers.
• Comply with the KPIs of the indirect purchasing area.
• Lead, develop and carry out productivity savings projects to reduce costs.
• Ensure the completion of the purchasing cycle by supporting the Finance and Accounts Payable departments with the monitoring of invoices, account statements and payment to suppliers (domestic and foreign).
• Know, learn, execute, and ensure the use of ISO indirect purchasing procedures and documents.

• Bachelor's degree or related engineering completed
• 3 years of relevant experience
