Job summary

MKS Inc. in Querétaro, Mexico, is seeking an Indirect/MRO Buyer to partner with internal customers and create purchase orders to meet production needs. You will report to the Procurement Supervisor and work in a manufacturing and office setting.

Responsibilities include obtaining materials, quotes, evaluating bids, and ensuring materials flow through the production cycle while maintaining inventory levels. CPIM/APICS certification is preferred, with 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; good writing and oral communication skills.
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information.
• The ability to observe documents and details at close range.
• Operates in a professional office and/or manufacturing environment.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Indirect/MRO buyer at MKS, you will partner with Internal customers (ex. Program Manager, Engineering, Corporate, NPI team, etc.) to create Purchase Orders according business needs. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Supervisor.

• Determines material requirements form engineering and production schedules, and maintains inventory at planned levels
• Plans, schedules and monitors for the movement of materials through the production cycle
• Evaluates vendor reliability, develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate

Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and good writing and oral communication skills
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred
• 3+ years of related experience
