Una empresa líder en manufactura en Tijuana busca un profesional experimentado para gestionar el departamento de importaciones y exportaciones. El candidato ideal debe tener más de 5 años de experiencia en la materia, un alto nivel de inglés y habilidades avanzadas en herramientas de análisis. Este puesto es clave para asegurar el cumplimiento de las regulaciones aduaneras y apoyar las operaciones mediante el análisis de datos. Establish relationships, trust and credibility with internal / external stakeholders. Working with them to develop and drive business processes & solutions that are compliant with any applicable trade laws, regulations, or internal policies.
Interface with related functional areas on import and export matters and coordinate training for personnel in these areas, as needed.
Accountable for compliant importation and exportation of goods and services, including proper classification and valuation, ERP system maintenance and documentation.
Ensuring compliance with home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations.
Responsible for HTS and ECCN administration and classification, Export License Determination, Screening, and Country of Origin, determination as well as support Bloom’s Free Trade Agreement and Special Trade program operations.
Responsible for managing, complying and maintaining C-TPAT, OEA, VAT Certification programs.
Conduct effective and timely transactional review and audit of all import/export records and elevate issues requiring correction to Corporate TC prior to the payment date.
Apply working knowledge of import/export regulations and requirements to support business demands. Consolidate and analyze import/export data to identify risks or opportunities for duty savings.
Provide analytical support, ad-hoc projects as needed, for reporting price adjustments, royalties, etc. via the CBP Reconciliation Prototype Program, and prepare reports and make recommendations to Leadership, as appropriate.
Provide analytical support related to CBP rulings and request for information (CF-28, Post Summary Correction, and Prior Disclosures).
Manage Customs Broker and ensure timely and accurate response to Broker requests for information and follow-up to ensure resolution.
Implement appropriate corrective actions in response to any findings in external or internal assessments.
