Jabil is seeking a Software Test Engineer II to deliver integrated hardware/software solutions for automated production test platforms and embedded designs. The role focuses on Windows and web applications to support diverse customer and manufacturing requirements.

The position involves mentoring other Software Engineers, conducting code reviews, and maintaining high reliability in software systems while leveraging modern technologies.

Formación

• Demonstrate knowledge of all stages of SDLC.
• Strong experience with TCP/IP networking.
• Database design, administration and development expertise.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and complex queries.
• Experience with C#/.NET and web technologies (ASP.NET, JavaScript).
• Scripting experience in Python or Perl; familiarity with UNIX shells.
• Experience with software versioning (Subversion) and code reviews.
• Positive team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new software technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex software applications (C# and .NET).
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot enterprise web applications.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot test scripts.
• Assist PM by providing information for software development quoting.
• Mentor other engineers and ensure best practices are followed.
• Stay current with latest software technologies and design techniques.
