CIMMYT is seeking an entry- to mid-level financial roster candidate to support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting across donor-funded and institutional projects.

Within CIMMYT's Finance teams, the role focuses on data management, reconciliations and reporting, while advancing financial controls and compliance with donor requirements. Entry-level roles focus on financial data management and reporting, while more senior positions take on project budgets and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting or project finance with increasing responsibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems; knowledge of donor-funded projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and analyze institutional and project budgets, including operating expenses and revenues.
• Review budget vs actual expenditure, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Support financial planning, forecasting and the annual budgeting process.
• Maintain accurate financial data and records within CIMMYT's financial systems.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
