A leading immigration assistance organization is seeking an Immigration Program Assistant to help clients with non-legal immigration paperwork and credit-building resources. You will work directly with clients, ensuring accurate form completion and document organization. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, bilingual, and passionate about helping newcomers succeed. This full-time role is based in-person in Mexico City, offering $2,000.00 per week with training provided.

Job Overview

Shakur Group is launching an Immigration Program to help newcomers to the United States successfully transition into their new lives. We assist clients with completing non-legal immigration paperwork, organizing documents, and building credit so they can access housing, employment, and financial opportunities.

As an Immigration Program Assistant, you will work directly with clients to ensure their forms are completed accurately based on the information they provide, help them gather supporting documents, and guide them through credit-building resources. You may also deliver completed packets to USCIS as a courier/messenger.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, bilingual, and passionate about helping others succeed. No legal background is required — training will be provided.

Duties
  • Assist clients in completing non-legal immigration paperwork using the information they provide
  • Review and organize supporting documents for USCIS submissions
  • Provide guidance on credit-building and financial literacy resources
  • Mail or hand-deliver completed packets to USCIS as a courier/messenger
  • Maintain accurate records of client files and services provided
  • Communicate clearly with clients in person, by phone, or online
  • Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards
  • Participate in training to stay updated on form changes and credit-building strategies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Bilingual skills (English + another language) strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, PDF editing, email)
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Must pass a background check
  • Previous experience in administrative support, immigration assistance, or community outreach is a plus, but not required
