A global immigration solutions provider is seeking an Immigration Director for the Latin America region. This 100% remote role requires managing a regional immigration team and overseeing profitability. Candidates should have over 10 years of immigration experience and 5 years in management within LATAM. Proficiency in English, with knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills necessary.

At Envoy Global, our Global Program is expanding, and we\'re not stopping anytime soon! As a result, we\'re seeking an Immigration Director for the Latin America region and will be responsible for managing the regional immigration team. This role requires a high level of experience in people management, team development and change process implementation. The Immigration Director, LATAM is responsible for the profitability, margin and revenue for the practice.

This role is 100% remote, working from home within Mexico, ideally within the Mexico City area. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the lead for the LATAM region
• Develop the immigration program for LATAM region, focusing on the main countries
• Advise strategy for complex matters
• Build strong relationship with new and existing clients
• Work closely with Account Manager, Sales and Business Development teams to identify opportunities
• and grow the business
• Serves as point of escalation
• Communicate with immigration authorities to clarify guidance notes/request application update and/or
• Escalate applications when immigration authorities fails to meet its processing standard/withdraw applications and/or request refund of government fees
• Manage team’s continuing professional development and assesses training requirements
• Review case assessments and initiations to ensure optimal caseload
• Work closely with the leadership team on region structure and resourcing (headcount)
• Manages the P&L of the practice
• Advise changes to immigration rules to news team and support any ad hoc reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of immigration experience
• Minimum 5+ years of immigration manager experience in the LATAM region
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to manage a team
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent time management, and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Capacity to prioritize, manage and execute multiple tasks
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is essential
