S&P Dow Jones Indices in Mexico City is seeking an Associate ICAD Specialist to support the daily calculation and production of a broad range of equity indices, ensuring timely end-of-day values and disseminating results to clients.

You will perform QA checks, monitor real-time index calculations, and work with technology and production teams to improve automation and accuracy. Strong analytical and programming basics are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Mathematics, Economics, IT, or Finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and asset classes.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities to solve non-routine problems.
• Ability to understand complex spreadsheet models and calculation algorithms.
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with Reuters and FactSet is a plus.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and VBA is beneficial, especially for automating models.
• Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Calculate S&P DJI branded indices daily with timely delivery of real-time and end-of-day data to clients.
• Run QA validations to ensure accuracy and integrity of index values.
• Monitor real-time calculations and distribution; investigate alerts and price movements; resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor underlying indices used in multi-asset methodologies; recalculate where needed and escalate per policy.
• Collaborate with technology and production support to automate and enhance systems.
• Maintain relationships with Client Coverage, Index Services and IT Support.
