Job summary
Madison International School in Mérida, Mexico, is seeking a dedicated MYP & DP Mathematics Teacher to join our IB programme team. The successful candidate will inspire students to think mathematically, solve problems, and appreciate the subject, while collaborating with colleagues across the school.
We value a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field, teaching certification, and at least 2 years of IB experience. Proficiency in English is essential, with Spanish considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Teaching certification/license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally IB MYP/DP.
- Strong command of English; Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess IB MYP/DP Mathematics lessons.
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Foster inquiry-based learning and critical thinking in mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum alignment and interdisciplinary connections.
- Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback.
- Contribute to school culture and professional development.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives.
