Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Manufacturing and Process Optimization Project Manager in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. You will lead initiatives to improve production processes, implement new technologies, and drive operational excellence across facilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing PM, strong Lean/Six Sigma background, and proficiency with PM tools and ERP/MES systems. This role follows a hybrid work model balancing on-site collaboration with remote tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality assurance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and ERP/MES systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote tasks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience managing budgets and resources for manufacturing projects.
• Fluency in Spanish required; English proficiency is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and improving operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for improvement in production lines, supply chain, and quality control systems.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Implement new manufacturing technologies and methodologies, ensuring smooth integration and adoption.
• Collaborate closely with production teams, engineers, quality control, and supply chain personnel.
• Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Monitor project progress and performance against key metrics, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and drive collaborative problem-solving.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout all project phases.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
