Corning Incorporated is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to drive AI-enabled solutions for Corning Optical Communications. You will lead architecture, guide engineers, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI applications, agents, and integrations.

You will define patterns, support Agile delivery, and translate complex business needs into practical AI roadmaps while working in a hybrid setup across Monterrey or Reynosa.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software, AI engineering, or related leadership experience.
• Strong background in Python, APIs, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience guiding engineers, defining architecture, and delivering complex projects.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and AI workflows.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute in Agile environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical direction, architecture, and delivery for AI-enabled applications and integrations.
• Guide engineers through design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Define scalable integration patterns using Python, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Translate business needs into practical AI solutions and delivery roadmaps.
• Support Agile practices, reusable patterns, and continuous improvement across AI initiatives.
